The versatility of stone in interior applications is astonishing. It can create a wide variety of looks, from traditional and rustic, to expensive and luxurious, and sleek and contemporary. For every natural stone, there is a tile that you can use in substitution. Compared to stone, stone-inspired tiles make installation easier, they come with more predictable patterns and textures, they’re easier to maintain and replace, plus they are a more sustainable option!
These stone-inspired tiles for example, are perfect for modern looks. With their fine texture, and compact and uniform appearance, these tiles create an evenly-hued neutral canvas which can support many contemporary decor schemes. Explore the tile collections below to see what we mean!
Pietra Pure
The Pietra Pure stone-inspired collection features stones of various origins which lend themselves well to a wide variety of applications, be it indoors, outdoors, residential or commercial. The six colour variations available come in natural, lapped or roc (textured anti-slip) finishes which can continue the look outdoors. There are also a huge variety of sizes to choose from, with the largest at 60cm by 120cm.
Pietra del Maniero
The elegance and grandeur of old noble houses in France, Italy and England was the inspiration behind the stone-inspired tiles of the Pietra del Maniero collection. These historic buildings hold timeless charm, beauty and luxury, all of which are referenced in the types of interiors these tiles can inhabit. The tiles come in four colours and five sizes, plus an exciting variety of decorative options.
I Naturali Pietra Di Savoia
The I Naturali tile collection faithfully reproduces the natural stone which has inspired its wide variety of designs, which include the Pietra Di Savoia family of three grey shades of Perla, Grigia and Antracite. The largest slab comes in at an impressive 162cm by 324cm, which is perfect for kitchen and bathroom countertops and tables, or vertically on doors and walls. The tiles come in three thicknesses of quarter-inch, half-inch and three-quarter-inch. They are available in five finishes and are extremely tough and resistant to heat, high temperatures, mould, staining, chemicals and more.
Lagoon
Smooth flowing vein patterns are the hallmark of the stone-inspired Lagoon collection. Modelled after Cardoso stone, the designs are skilfully balanced and subtle, with tone-on-tone streaks and five colours suggested by the elements of water, rock, earth and ice. The tiles are available in two surface finishes, two thicknesses and four sizes, with the largest at 60cm by 120cm.
Eclettica
Resonating with mineral energy, the Eclettica stone-inspired tile collection features a balanced and authentically natural texture for walls and floors both indoors and outdoors. In addition to the five conventional sizes, there is also a wide range of decorative elements which include a chevron and various mosaics, all available in five colours. The collection has three thicknesses and four surface finishes enabling the visual harmonisation of interior floors with outdoor flooring such as from the terrace to the poolside, and from the porch to the garden, including driveways.
Shapes Of Italy
Inspired by the seven natural stones that have characterised the history of Italian art and architecture, the Shapes of Italy stone-inspired tile collection harness the beauty of Italian stone in modern design contexts and interiors. The collection comes in a range of 11 sizes, seven colours, five surfaces and three thicknesses.
