2. Cerdomus Supreme

A beautiful marble-inspired collection, the tiles of Cerdomus Supreme are sophisticated and rich in detail and pattern. These qualities have made them a favourite of Mark Chen, director of Artistroom. He says, “It is a really beautiful bold marble collection and at a very good price point.” The tiles can also create bookmatched designs for a look of elevated luxury. Choose from five colours, which include three greys tones.

3. Polis Listone

Available in two sizes of 15cm by 90cm, and 15cm by 60cm, the long planks of the timber-inspired Polis Listone collection are able to easily fulfil a variety of laying patterns for flooring and walls. Designers such as John Au from The Carpenter’s Workshop love them for “their ability to make interiors feel cosy, with a modern luxurious look”.

4. Mutina Tape

Interior designers love how much creative freedom they have with Mutina tiles, as many of Mutina’s collections comprise modular design units which can be put together in multiple ways, such as Tape. Designed by Raw Edges, Mutina Tape explores how pattern can be used in a space, with 20.5cm square tiles in black, and white, overlaid with graphic patterns in various proportions. The colour palette includes white, blue, green, brown and black.

5. Ergon Stonetalk

One of RICE’s bestselling stone-inspired tile collections, Ergon Stonetalk explores how stone can be processed and used for various functions, such as the outdoors, public areas, or walls. The result is three different finishes – Minimal, Martellata and Rullata, which also present different visual qualities. Stonetalk is available in five colours of Dark, Grey, White, Sand and Taupe.

6. Ergon Stone Project

Another extremely popular stone-inspired tile collection among designers, Ergon Stone Project brings our attention to the different facets of stone. Cut a stone block perpendicular to its sedimentation and you get the Falda design, which shows the vein direction. Cut it parallel to the sedimentation to produce the Controfalda pattern. Add to that seven colours, three finishes and various sizes, to give designers a multitude of options for any project.

7. Mutina Primavera

Consider the Mutina Primevera collection a more elegant and refined version of terrazzo, although the tile design has a completely different concept. Designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby wanted to capture theauthenticity of a natural material by manufacturing imperfections on the surface. As such, they threw small coloured ceramic inserts randomly into five coloured bases. “The subtle texture variations of the small coloured ceramic inserts in the tiles are delightful details,” says Lee Liting of Nitton Architects.

8. Ragno Creek

Natural colours are key to the carefully calibrated stone-inspired designs of Ragno Creek. The design is meant to be minimalist, in order to be as versatile as possible. The tiles are available in five colours and three sizes, with mosaics to complement.

9. Panaria Horizon

Explore new connections between design, materials and sensations with the Panaria Horizon collection.
