3D . Split & Fornace

Craftsmanship is the keystone in the Split & Fornace. The results of the passion, talent and attention to detail of master ceramists deeply rooted in their origins inspired by nature and the skilful use of the elements it has made available to them.

Fornace is an extruded terracotta ‘listello’, while Split is an evolving study on the theme of breeze blocks size, the three-dimensional dividing elements obtained through artisan productions of drawn terracotta.

Split now presents three different proposals: Loop, Oblique and Circle. Loop is a 3D element that traces the concept of an arch to create a ‘rhythm’ within the space, allowing a glimpse of the environment beyond the viewing point. Oblique and Circle propose delicate and functional geometries thanks to the possibility of playing with the installation and creating dynamic compositions, with aligned or staggered laying, going beyond the simple cladding. The breeze blocks are thus reinterpreted with a modern vision, but preserving the traditional soul thanks to handcrafted production.
