TILES : Design Collection
Mosaics . Eden
Eden ceramic mosaic, a ri-edition of the hexagonal shapes in a new porcelain stoneware support. The inspiration of the new collection came from the floor of Eden Theatre in Treviso, opened on 5th January 1911. An example of Liberty architecture, as well as ambitious project of the industrialist Graziano Appiani, founder of the homonymous Ceramica Appiani 1873.
A collection of ceramic mosaic tiles developed in 18 colours of soft and dusty tones in both polished and matt version rigorously obtained through the exclusive technology of the Appiani factory, the “monopressocottura”, a production technique that allows to obtain ceramic products whose glazes and clays are pressed dry. The mosaic is mounted on a mesh of 30x30cm sheets, with tiles in the 2,4x2,8cm format. Eden proposes a skillful study of hues which, in groups of 3, can blend naturally, ensuring a perfect match between color tones that offer endless pairing possibilities for professionals and architects.
